Parmar, an Indian-born software engineer with a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, has over 10 years of experience in AI research.

Her career trajectory:
β–Ά Joined Google in 2015 as a Software Engineer, contributing to deep learning systems and natural language processing.
β–Ά Moved to Google Deepmind in 2017 and became a core contributor to a paper "Attention Is All You Need," which has over 125,000 citations and led to the development of the Transformer model used in AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and DALL-E.

In 2021, Niki co-founded Adept with fellow Google colleagues, leveraging transformer neural networks to develop AI assistants.

Just a year later, she co-founded Essential AI, which swiftly raised $56.5 million from top investors like AMD, Google, and NVIDIA, focusing on automating enterprise workflows.

Parmar has published numerous papers focusing on areas such as self-attention, inductive biases, language modeling, and natural language processing.
