Jen Zhu Scott - the entrepreneur tackling one of AI’s biggest hidden problems: energy.

She grew up in rural Sichuan province in China, in a household that endured significant hardship. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from Sichuan University.

Numbers came naturally. But so did curiosity.
She moved to the UK for an MBA in Finance, entering a world where media tech, AI, and deep-tech investing were beginning to collide.

In Asia, she worked on early speech-to-text and video-indexing projects long before generative AI. Later, as a founding partner at IN. Capital, she backed frontier technologies shaping the next decade.

But she kept seeing the same fault line: AI was accelerating faster than the world’s energy systems could handle. The more powerful the models, the bigger the strain on global grids.

So she founded Power Dynamics - building modular, containerised compute-and-energy systems to decentralise power and make large-scale AI sustainable. It challenged assumptions across both the energy sector and AI, but Jen pushed ahead, convinced the world needed a new blueprint for powering intelligence.

Today, she’s recognized as one of Forbes’ Top Women in Tech and Fortune China’s Most Influential Business Women.

Jen’s journey proves that the future of AI won’t just be coded.
It will be powered.
